ABOUT

The PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION ON VOLUNTARY ARBITRATION, INC. (PAVA, INC.) is a non-stock, non-profit corporation set up to:

• Promote voluntary arbitration as the preferred mode of dispute settlement in the Philippines;

• Institutionalize and professionalize voluntary arbitration in the Philippines;

• Undertake a continuing program for the training and development of voluntary arbitrators and for the study and understanding of the voluntary arbitration system;

• Develop among its members high ideals of ethical conduct, competence, civic consciousness, and social responsibility;

• Cultivate linkages with different sectors of society; and

• Undertake other programs and activities consistent with the above.

PAVA, Inc., works hand in hand with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB), an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in the promotion of voluntary arbitration as an alternative mode in dispute resolution.
